Ortus Vitae

50 Pages

Ortus Vitae is composed of two parts. The first, Mortem Dei (The Death of God), is the story of genesis retold as a warning to the postmodern world. The second, Ortus Vitae (The Birth of Life), is an epilogue detailing the real-world meaning of the story. The story itself – is a message about the dangers of using our collective power to organize society in a way that rejects empathy, freedom, and creation, while instead rewarding judgment and destruction – all for the sake of claiming ownership over the Earth as well as its inhabitants.
